Columbus Crew SC midfielder and Captain Wil Trapp trained with Special Olympics athletes during one of their practices. Trapp gave the team a motivational speech in advance of their upcoming Special Olympics Unified Match against the Colorado Rapids in Denver on Saturday, June 3. Following the pep talk, Trapp ran drills with the athletes and signed autographs. This event was part of Crew SC’s “Give Forward” initiative sponsored by MAPFRE Insurance.
